Style: Gradients versus Color Blocks?
Black outline for people only or Set and Costumes?
Lighting "outline" Soft edges or Hard lined areas?
Bright omnidirectional comedic or offbeat strong direction?
Will comedy be dampened by a softer swampy light?
Game show bright comedy or soft?
Monty Python Holy Grail has many softly lit scenes that are still funny, maybe more so because the action is silly in a classical look.
We seem to be leaning more bold and bright than classical and sophisticated in style. Especially with the televised studio look of the game show stuff.
not much solid here yet. I am excited about pea greens, grey blues, orange reds and the like. Much like the little tree frog to the right here. I know I want to use up lights from the trap and fog down there, if possible. Karen mentioned game show chasing lights. Moving water template projection with gobos on the pond. All these things are exciting. Other than that, I think we need to agree on style and see what the materials for set and costume will be so I can support that.
