Following the "Formal Meeting" on 7/20, Denise, Karen, Deb and Sue discussed color and style a bit more. We also established that the donkey will be a funny schtick costume !!!

Karen and Sue also talked about carrying the black outline idea over into the scenic elements, and after noodling around with research the following pics can make the case for both sides.....






Classical Art shows the high contrast between the people and the environment

  1. I started playing with lighting color swatches yesterday. I like the greyish turquoise and lavender greys from the Sue's hades and persephone post above for traveling the underworld. If I add amber glow some point from the pit to this, we can get a soft depth of perspective like in the Charon's Ferry painting higher up on my post.
